Andrei Smoler is a writer, producer, and director whose work bridges traditional filmmaking and digital storytelling. With over a decade of experience across narrative, documentary, and creator-centered formats, his short and long-form projects are produced with contemporary audiences in mind.

Before pursuing a Master of Arts in Film Theory and Criticism at Central Michigan University, where his research explored independent filmmaking and the creator economy, he spent over four years as a story producer and director at NT Play, a Brazilian streaming platform owned by the media conglomerate, Novo Tempo. His experience also includes work as an assistant producer at the Rock in Rio music festival and as a digital content producer for Latin Grammy-nominated Vocal Livre.

His multicultural background has informed much of his work, focusing on stories spanning a wide range of subjects, highlighting the humanity that transcends borders and partitions. Whether working within an established production structure or independently, he is driven by a commitment to authenticity, visual storytelling, and projects that resonate beyond a single cultural context.
